Conga Star is a fun arcade party game developed by Undercoders and published by Rising Star Games. This game reminds you of the famous Snake game except for the fact that it is about fancy dance steps instead of eating yummy things. The game sees up to four players controlling their favorite character to build up the most epic conga line ever.
This pixel art arcade game is all about involving the deserted party goers to your party as you try to maintain the momentum through all different levels.
It can’t be easier to conga than playing the game. You enter the personal space of the isolated individuals to attract them to your conga line. You can play solo or add up to three players for some conga madness. Be aware of any unwanted individuals who create ruckus in the line. As the line grows, it becomes easier for you to add quick steppers.
There are two modes in the game: Story Mode and Multiplayer Mode.
In story mode, you need to make a specified long conga line before moving on to the next level. Endless is the willingness to prolong the game by getting new recruits to your line. It has different scenarios from a club to a disco, where party-goers are looking for the conga master. There are various interruptions in the game in the form of waiters and sweepers who can break your conga line.
The multiplayer mode is amongst the four local players who dance to the beat of the game and prove their conga dance endurance.
Is it another Conga Snake?
There is a difference in the Snake game and Conga Master. In this game, you are not eating the best of the things to build up the tail but you need to perform the ritual of dancing to the beats. If you dance around the target for long enough, he is expected to join the line. Dancing around the victim is the only way to enlarge your line size. Be aware of the fact that you cannot bump into the individual who is not part of your line. This can lead to a reduction in all the sympathy (if any) that an individual has for you. You need to again rebuild the trust.
Do you really have the Momentum?
The game is all about timing and to calculate that in the game, it is called Momentum. At the start of the game, there is a certain value to the Momentum which gradually decreases as the game progresses. It can be recharged with every member joining the line. Later, it becomes even more difficult as two or three dancers are required to join the line to recharge the Momentum.
Who can ruin the game?
If you have mastered your steps to the virtual dance floor and don’t bump into anyone, then be careful of the unwanted elements who would like to fail you. For example, you can encounter the cleaners who walk with a mop and leave a wet strip behind them. Dancing on this wet floor can make you easily slip and bump into a group of dancers. Another unwanted element could be the peel offs of the banana. Two major ruining scenarios are the pigs and the muscular dudes. Pigs don’t harm as much as muscular individuals, but if they join the line, it can decrease the Momentum.
- Easy and Instinctive Controls- You have the rhythm or not, just shake your virtual hips on the dance floor and build the conga line. The longer the line, the better is the result.
- Multiplayer Madness- The game offers six multiplayer modes, each with its own nuance. Fight with the local players to build the longest conga line.
- Loaded with conga fun- The game comes with 30 characters to choose from along with six party club locations. For single player, there are Endless Conga and Story Modes.
- Single Player Quest- Conga can be done single also. In story mode, head out to party clubs and move your shoes to the rhythm to become the nightclub dancer parody. Watch out for the hidden areas and power-ups to build the best conga line ever.
This pixel art arcade game is filled with fun and music. Though the game comes with simple mechanics yet there is a lot of depth. It’s obvious that playing multiplayer is much more fun as you compete with your friends. Still, you can play single player, but be sure that you are missing half of the fun. It’s a great party title and hell of a game. The game’s spirit and vision are purely out of unabashed fun, brings joy to any age group, be it young or old.
